Accommodation Options

Destination - Big Island of Hawaii

If you will be flying in, book your flight to the Kona (KOA) Airport. The minute the plane lands you will be embraced with the fresh air of the island as you walk into the open air pavilion and out to shuttle vans, taxis, and rental car agencies all ready to take you to your healing destination. Our office is located approximately 50 miles from the airport in Kapa’au.

Destination - Kapa'au

The office is located in Kapa’au, a very close knit community located on the northern most tip of the island. The community is known for its long-time tradition of upholding true community ethic. People show a willingness to lend a hand to those in need and contribute to a prosperous town. North Kohala has its own radio show, KNKR 96.1FM and newspaper, called the Kohala Mountain News which is published monthly. They even have their own airport!

Unlike most of the Big Island, this area is very green with cooler temperatures, lush vegetation, sweeping, grand views and infamous winds! The only main road through town dead ends at the lookout point for Pololu Valley. A short and somewhat steep rocky trail leads you to a black sand beach in the valley, where a river flows forth to meet the ocean bringing fresh water to the salty sea. The view of the horizon at this point often yields the outline of mountainous and majestic neighboring island Maui. It’s a must see!
